Breakfast Strata Casserole with Turkey Sausage
This delicious Breakfast Strata Casserole with Turkey Sausage recipe is a great way to use up leftover holiday bread or rolls. Packed with savory flavor, this casserole is anything but boring—under 500 calories per serving!

INGREDIENTS
1 pound JENNIE-O® All Natural Turkey Sausage
6 cups cubed brioche bread
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
6 green onions, sliced
4 cups half-and-half cream
5 large eggs, lightly beaten or 10-ounces egg substitute
1 teaspoon kosher salt
DIRECTIONS
1) Spray skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat skillet over medium-high heat. Place 1/2 inch thick patties in hot skillet. Turn occasionally and cook approximately 15 to 17 minutes. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
2) Layer bread in lightly greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
3) Top with sausage, cheeses and green onions.
4) Whisk together cream, eggs and salt in a mixing bowl.
5) Pour egg mixture over bread mixture.
6) Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or as long as overnight.
7) Heat oven to 350°F.
8) Let casserole stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before baking.
9) Bake for 55 minutes or until eggs are set.
